What is Tummy Tuck?
Tummy tuck surgery is a surgical intervention in which the excess fat and sagging skin in the middle and lower abdomen are removed and the loosened abdominal muscles are repaired and strengthened. Depending on the condition of the patient’s abdomen, full tummy tuck or mini tummy tuck can be performed.
Full tummy tuck is often applied to people who have given birth or have gained and lost excess weight. If there is a coat above and below the belly button that the patient can hold with his hand, it is a suitable candidate for a full tummy tuck. If the excess skin and fat is collected only under the belly, mini tummy tuck is performed.
