Yes, Bella Eyes® results are permanent. The lateral canthus and lateral brow are surgically repositioned and fixed in place. The lift is durable, lasting many years. While natural aging continues, the improvements achieved are long-lasting.

Traditional canthopexy addresses only the eye corner. Bella Eyes® addresses BOTH the eye corner AND the lateral brow simultaneously, creating superior facial harmony and more comprehensive transformation. Additionally, Bella Eyes® uses endoscopic technology with hairline incisions, while traditional methods use more invasive open approaches with eyelid incisions.

The procedure takes approximately 90 minutes from incision to closure.

Our patients frequently require 10 to 14 days of recovery time before returning to work. However, swelling and bruising won’t completely resolve for about a month. Results continue to improve, reaching their best at 2-3 months post-surgery.

Important: Final results are typically visible at 2-3 months post-surgery when all swelling has completely resolved.

Judging results before this time would be premature due to residual swelling. Patience during this period is essential.

7 Days Before:

• Avoid herbal teas and supplements (green tea, ginseng, garlic, ginger, ginkgo biloba)
• Avoid NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, Aleve)
• Avoid blood-thinning supplements (fish oil, vitamin E, flaxseed, turmeric, CoQ10)

5 Days Before:

• Stop all smoking and nicotine products
• Avoid alcohol completely

Day Before & Day Of:

• Stay hydrated with water
• Get plenty of rest
• Eat healthy balanced meals
• Fast for 8 hoursbefore surgery (no food, water, gum, candy)
• Disclose all medications and medical conditions

Fasting for 8 hours before surgery is critical for safety. It prevents aspiration (inhalation of stomach contents into the lungs) during anesthesia, which can be life-threatening.

If you take prescribed anticoagulants (warfarin, clopidogrel, apixaban, rivaroxaban), notify both your regular physician and our clinic. Medication adjustments may be necessary for your safety.

Yes, absolutely. Arrange for a responsible adult to:

A bandage is applied after surgery to support healing. Keep it in place for 10 days. If you’re staying in Istanbul, we’ll remove it professionally. If returning home early, arrange for a local healthcare provider to remove it.

Do NOT wear eyeglasses or sunglasses for 1 month after surgery. Pressure on the healing area can compromise results or cause complications.
